Venue Information

International Convention Center and Hotel (ICCH), Hyderabad

The new International Convention Center and Hotel is located in Hyderabad - the capital of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India . Its distance from city center is about 10 kms and takes approximately 25 mins to reach.

ICCH is a state-of-the-art convention facility of international standard with optimum seating capacity of 4000 persons. It is the largest in India. It will be the venue for all sessions of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2006. It is expected to be completed by mid December. PBD 2006 will be the first major event in this prestigious Convention Center.

 
Shilparamam

A village o showcase Arts. A centrestage of cultures. A melting pot of Traditions.
To keep the arts alive to help the crafts thrive and to make the waning cultures active, and in a drive to bring age old skills and centuries old traditions close to today's urban world, Shilparamam - a Crafts Village was set up close to Hyderabad. Set in Madhapur 14 km off the city, a midst picturesque rock formations that are unique for the region, Shilparamam brings together craftspersons and artists of every ilk.

During Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2006, the above venue will host an All India Arts and Crafts festival and contemporary Art Gallery.


Hitex Exhibition Center

HITEX is located strategically at the most happening part of Hyderabad, at Madhapur (near HITEC City), the emerging business and technology hub.

HITEX is India's most modern exhibitions venue, set to open up exciting opportunities in the global arena. This magnificent facility spread over nearly 100 acres is the star attraction of Hyderabad, a city that is already a sought after destination.

The Centre has been designed to enhance functionality and flexibility in providing state-of-the-art infrastructure for organizers of international exhibitions, conventions, trade shows and corporate events.

The first phase of the master plan for HITEX consists of

  • Three indoor Exhibition Halls - 3500 sq.m.each(37,660 sq.ft./hall)

  • Open Exhibition Area - 32,825 sq.m (353,197 sq.ft ) .

  • Trade Fair Office Building.

  • Entrance Plaza (housing Registration and  Ticketing Counters).

  • Car Parking (1200 cars).

HITEX provides for Conferencing facilities in the adjacent NAC Campus.
