Infrastructure
Development in Andhra Pradesh
It
is the Government's endeavor to provide quality infrastructure
facilities such as Roads, Electricity and Water to the doorstep of
the proposed industry in the areas identified by the State
Government as Industrial Areas and creating
necessary infrastructure such as Telecommunications, Internet,
connectivity, Information kiosks, Transportation links, Container
depots, Exhibition halls by private participation.
The State
Government has introduced a new scheme called "Industrial
Infrastructure Development Fund" (IIDF). The IIDF may be spent
on such sectors for establishment of Technical Institutions,
Incubation Centers, etc. Whenever these industries are located in
places other than industrial areas (isolated areas), the Government
will share the cost of infrastructure up to 25% or Rs.100 lakhs
whichever is less.
